'Living a Nightmare': Loved Ones of Unaccounted For Young People Desperately Seek News After Ski Resort Inferno
The relatives of teens lost after a tragic inferno at a venue in a Swiss ski resort are enduring an agonising wait for confirmed information and requesting clues about their children via social media.
The blaze engulfed the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of New Year's Day. Verified images depict the ceiling igniting as beverages with sparklers are raised in celebration.
Emergency services have warned that it could take an extended period to identify the fatalities of the tragedy, which killed four dozen individuals and hurt another over a hundred. Authorities noted on the latest update that 113 of the those hurt have been accounted for, with efforts continuing to identify the final individuals.
In the interim, relatives have been posting on social media to request information about their missing relatives who were present at the venue that fateful night.
Desperate Searches for the Missing
The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are not yet determined, according to an heartfelt request from his parent.

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is also among the missing. His mother explained that he had been on holiday but had gone out with friends and ended up at the venue.
"A close friend said they ran away after the fire broke out and that he had his mobile with him, but then at a certain point he lost sight of him," she explained, adding he had been wearing a distinctive piece of jewelry.
One of his teachers stated, "I remember his good nature and positive demeanor, alongside great maturity. Often ask if get me a coffee."
Alice Kallergis, who holds both Greek and Swiss citizenship but lives permanently in the country, was also at the bar on New Year's Eve, according to sources.
Her brother has shared an appeal online, saying the family has had "no updates" regarding the 15-year-old or the three friends she was with, who are also unaccounted for.
